Kerry trained at the wondrous Bretton Hall. She has worked as an actor, deviser, writer, movement director and musician for the last 18 years.
She is the Artistic Director of Splendid Productions, having set up the company in 2003 to devise and deliver training and workshops for young performers and students of drama. In 2004 Splendid produced a nationwide tour of their creative adaptation of 'The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui', and have subsequently toured a new production each year. Kerry is already preparing for 2014's tenth-anniversary tour of 'Antigone'. Kerry has taken a key role in each production – mostly as a selection of men – with the occasional part as a Greek woman.
As a musician she was in the original line-up of the band Aqualung on bass and double bass.
As a writer Kerry co-devised the book for the epic Carnival Messiah appearing in its successful runs at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in 1999 and 2002 as well as taking it to its spiritual home of Trinidad in 2004.
Kerry also designed the set, props and costume for 'Adam & Eve: The Musical'.
